Grundfos TP, TPE pumps are single-stage, close-coupled in-line centrifugal pumps with mechanical shaft seal and for applications such as heating/cooling/district energy/hot water recirculation. The pumps are with either fixed speed motors (TP/TPD) or speed controlled motors (TPE/TPED/TPE2/TPE2 D/TPE3/TPE3 D).
Efficient Grundfos TP pumps deliver power where it’s needed
TP is a comprehensive range of high-efficiency, vertical inline pumps with a mechanical shaft seal. Adaptable to small and large-scale systems, TP pumps deliver the flow and pressure you need for heating, cooling and air-conditioning.
A key feature is its close-coupled design, which means the pump and motor are separate units – making them less sensitive to impurities in the pumped liquid compared to canned rotor pumps. Add to that a specially constructed shaft seal chamber, and you have a pump that ensures optimal water circulation without external piping. Anti-corrosion surface treatment is the final touch for the longest possible lifetime.
Low on noise and capable of withstanding temperatures up to 150 °C, TP pumps are a robust and reliable choice.
TPE: Leading intelligence and efficiency for inline pumps
Grundfos TPE inline pumps deliver unmatched efficiency and adaptability, thanks to the IE5-rated MGE motors with integrated variable frequency drives (VFDs).
Designed to intelligently optimise system performance, these pumps are built to save energy and lower life cycle costs, making them ideal for several applications including heating, cooling, air-conditioning and district energy.
Available up to 90 kW, the TPE series offers advanced connectivity options and safety features, particularly in the 11-22 kW range. These pumps integrate seamlessly with external sensors to respond precisely to pressure, temperature, and flow needs—cutting energy consumption significantly compared to conventional pumps.
With features like a robust shaft seal chamber and low-noise operation, the TPE series sets a new standard for reliable, adaptable and intelligent pumping solutions.
